The Silsbee Bee Presents the 2027 Hardin County Pet Calendar!

Is your pet just too cute for words? Now's your chance to find out!

This beautiful, 28-page, full-color calendar will feature 13 special pets from across Hardin County, Texas. Twelve pets will represent the months of the year, and one lucky pet will be featured on the cover!

OFFICIAL RULES AND INFORMATION

1. Submission Deadline: All entries must be received no later than Nov. 18, 2026, to be considered. A completed online submission form is required for each pet.

2. Previous Winners: Pets featured in previous calendars are eligible to enter again.

3. Multiple Entries: You may submit as many pets as you own. However, each pet must have its own photograph and individual online submission form. Group photographs are not accepted.

4. Eligible Pets: From goldfish to iguanas, dogs to cats, if you love it and it's your family pet, we want to see it! Working farm animals are not eligible. However, animals kept as family pets, including horses, may qualify.

5. Residency Requirement: All pets entered must reside in Hardin County, Texas.

6. Monthly Winners: Twelve (12) pets will be selected to represent the months of the 2027 calendar.

7. Cover Winner: One (1) overall winner will be selected for the calendar's front cover.

8. Photo Sessions: All 13 selected pets must be available for a professional photo session in early December 2026. Pet owners will be contacted to schedule their appointments.

9. How to Enter: Complete the official online submission form through The Silsbee Bee website. A separate form is required for each pet.

10. Winner Selection: There will be no public voting. All selections will be made at the sole discretion of The Silsbee Bee staff.

11. Prizes: All 13 winning pets will receive a professional photo session, with their photographs provided on a thumb drive. Each winning pet's owner will also receive 10 complimentary copies of the 2027 Pet Calendar to keep or share with family and friends.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

A completed online submission form is required for consideration. Posting your pet's photograph in Facebook comments does not constitute an official entry.

Pet Grooming: The Silsbee Bee does not provide grooming services. Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are clean, groomed and ready for their scheduled photo sessions.

Pet Owners: Only the selected pets will appear in the calendar. Pet owners will not be featured in calendar photographs.

Photograph Ownership: All photographs submitted become the property of The Silsbee Bee and may be used in the newspaper, calendar, website and related promotional materials.

Final Selection: All decisions regarding pet selection, scheduling and calendar placement are at the sole discretion of The Silsbee Bee.
